If you're a culture enthusiast, then you shouldn't miss out on the upcoming Manar Abu Dhabi Festival 2023. In its inaugural season, the newly launched exhibition of light is bringing you seven diverse cultural performances throughout December 2023 and January 2024.
Manar Abu Dhabi Festival 2023 will showcase multicultural audiovisual performances, musicals, poetry, hip-hop, free-flow dances, and all that jazz. It will be the perfect platform to explore the treasure trove of talent in this region, taking a deep dive into the work of award-winning artists, poets, musicians, and other curators from around the world.
Apart from the cultural performances, Manar Abu Dhabi Festival 2023 will also feature stunning exhibitions, installations, and commissions across the capital, all meant to complement the seven performances. Over 35 local, regional, and international artists have designed site-specific light sculptures, projections, and immersive artworks across seven archipelagos and mangroves. You can find them across Lulu Island, Corniche Road, Saadiyat Island, Jubail Island, Al Samaliyah Island, Eastern Mangroves, and Fahid Island.
All installations are available for the public to enjoy daily between 5:30 pm and 1:00 am. There are no entry fees or tickets required, so you're welcome to soak up all that art and culture free of cost. However, do note that water transport tickets may need to be purchased while at Manar Abu Dhabi Festival to reach select locations like Lulu Island, Samaliyah Island, and Eastern Mangroves. People of Determination will be able to access all locations as well.
